…with Feathers, Fur, and Fringe, that is!
I’m all about feathers, fur, and fringe. I am definitely more eccentric and
eclectic when it comes to what I like to wear. At the moment, I’d describe my style as layered boho
rock. I wear what I like and I’m
all about comfort, but you’ll never catch me out in sweatpants.
I actually wear all 3, the feathers, fur and fringe, at
once. And when thrown on with
jeans, a t-shirt, hoodie and boots they just complete the look. They’re a great way to stand out and add
some flavor to any outfit. Always
chose in neutral colors and they will go with anything.
{Feathers} and not the extensions for your hair, like the
colored strands you see at hair salons, leave them to KIDS ONLY!!! I’m talking like feathers draped from a necklace or attached to a medicine bag. If you wear a feather on a necklace, do
NOT pair with the matching feather earrings.
{Fur} love me a fur vest. And like the feathers, only one fur object at a time. Fur vest with a fur hat with fur gloves
will just make you look like a furry animal. And the fur vest looks amazing under a leather jacket or a
military jacket. It looks like it
is the lining of the jacket. I
wear it like this all the time. It
also keeps you very warm!
{Fringe} definitely on a purse as well as a necklace, even a
vest or boots! And the same goes as
with the above, not all fringe pieces together, even if you were going to the
rodeo.

Fur's Fur, right?
ReplyDeleteSo that means that it doesn't necessarily have to be cut off the back of a small (or large) animal to be trendy...right?
Just wanted to point that out,
LOVE your blog so far, Alex!
Thank you!
DeleteYes, of course...fur does not need to be "real" to be trendy. I'd actually say that faux fur is more trendy than real fur. There are tons of faux options out there and you can't even tell the difference. Thanks for bringing up!
